Can anyone tell me what the points counter is for at the top right portion of the screen, after you post the points seem to add up. What is that for?

Can anyone tell me what the points counter is for at the top right portion of the screen, after you post the points seem to add up. What is that for?
The points can be used to purchase things from the OKCTalk store. Just above the "OKCTALK GEAR" link, you will see the word "store." Just click on the arrow and you will be able to see that can use your points to "purchase" things that will allow you to dress up your username. You can either make your username glow, make it all italics, make the lettering bold, or change the color.

Once you click on what you want to change, it will tell you how many points it takes to get the change made. You can also donate points to other users or they can donate to you. This point count goes up everytime you make a post.

Actually, Patrick was one of the first posters on this forum, so his post count went up quickly. Yep, I trained him well.LOL

After you purchase everything from the store, the points are basically worthless, unless you want to buy a friend something.

I wish we could dress ourselves up and get a tshirt with our points! Maybe one day?
