Anyone else other than me want a Bonefish Grill in OKC? They're in Tulsa so maybe it will happen? My son moved to North Carolina and it has become their favorite restaurant. I was able to visit when I visited last year and it reminded me of the same type of quality as Charlestons. The Bang Bang shrimp appetizer was delightful.

We have them in Denver. I've never had a bad deal there.

I seriously doubt they will come to Oklahoma City. OSI which is the parent company for Outback Steakhouse has a poor reputation here in town. Their concepts, other than Outback, have not performed well over time. For instance, we once had a Carrabba's and a Cheeseburger in Paradise, both OSI concepts, and both failed and closed. I doubt OSI would take a risk in expanding here in Oklahoma City, and open a Bonefish Grill.

Ah, I didn't realize those establishments were connected. Disappointing but makes sense. Thanks for the insight.

All but one Cheeseburger in Paradise locations in the US have closed - so you cannot hold that against OKC. As far as Carrabb's is concerned, their locations competed directly with Johnny Carino's which offered a better product. Hope we get a Bonefish Grill, its one of my favorites.

No, Carrabba's is better than Johnny Carino's. I miss Carrabba's.

Problem with Carrabba's was that it was not nearly as good of a location as Johnny Carino's. It's amazing the difference a quarter mile can make, but Memorial is two one-way roads and just not enough people pass by that spot on Memorial to garner the revenue. Absolutely nothing has had sustained success in that specific building. Twin Peaks next door has had success because it's a very particular type of draw, but plenty of things have tried and failed in that little stretch of memorial.

Pub W that's in the location now is a Hal Smith run restaurant and it seems they are doing fine. I was there for lunch today and had the Chicken Fried Filet with mashed potatoes and green beans. It was amazing, so tender I cut it with my fork. Everything was seasoned well and had good flavor. Although I agree nothing has been there very long. I do hope Pub W lasts. Wes Welkers was there and gone.

Pub W is a somewhat quality restaurant. They have changed their menu on occasion and taken off the kinds of items I have enjoyed in the past. Pub W also has multiple locations in the metro and is a growing concept for Hal Smith.

Crazy how everyone differs in their opinion. I had only been to Carino’s and Carrabbas a handful of times each and I never had a good experience at any Carrabbas location. But I usually enjoyed Carinos.

Carrabba's is not good. One visit to Cheeseburger in Paradise was enough. Bonefish Grill would do very well here.
