According to the County Assessor, this building was constructed in 1901, so it pre-dates statehood.

It's been under renovation for a while but looks like they are finally getting close to finishing.

Really a cool building and a great improvement.

I worked in this building back in the late 80's and sometimes stayed in the old apartments upstairs. The last bay of windows on the north end was Ryland's Mortuary Service. It was an embalming service for funeral homes. There have been thousands of bodies through there. (Through the back door). Neat old building that was pretty solid.

Nice but I wish we could rid of that parking or perhaps convert it to parallel parking and push the sidewalk out.
