I drove by today and noticed the old Burger King on the NE corner in front of the Locke Supply had been razed. Does anyone know what they have planned for that pad site?

Does anyone know what they have planned for that pad site? Pete 01-11-2019, 04:13 PM I believe Wing Stop is moving from the center to a new free-standing building on that corner. Bullbear 01-11-2019, 04:31 PM I believe Wing Stop is moving from the center to a new free-standing building on that corner. that will be the 2nd move for that Wingstop.. from the east end.. to the west.. and now a free standing building shawnw 01-11-2019, 05:56 PM That's pretty cool, never enough room in the current location SEMIweather 01-12-2019, 10:10 AM Yeah that'll be a nice upgrade for WingStop, I enjoy them and that is the nearest location to me but the amenities in their current spot in that shopping center are not great. shawnw 01-12-2019, 01:41 PM I've resorted to ordering online ahead (I'm super close when at work) and picking up my food because that location (and the previous tbh) is so unable to hold a lunch crowd of any decent size. Pete 01-12-2019, 01:44 PM How is their food? shawnw 01-12-2019, 01:46 PM My fave chain wing place. I like how they do their wings better than BWW. Not better than Chick N Beer atmosphere wise, and probably not food wise though I don't get comparable flavors at each. CCOKC 01-12-2019, 03:01 PM I don't eat wings because I am a vegetarian but I always enjoy the fries from Wing Stop. shawnw 01-12-2019, 03:03 PM How could I have forgotten the crack fries, OMG HangryHippo 01-12-2019, 03:19 PM I don't eat wings because I am a vegetarian but I always enjoy the fries from Wing Stop. My favorite fries. They are so good! And the wings... YUM!! SEMIweather 01-12-2019, 04:40 PM For anyone who hasn't eaten there before, they put some sort of sugar in the seasoning of their fries. It's great. The wings are fine, my favorite flavor is probably lemon pepper. IMO it's an above-average fast casual chain restaurant. Chick N Beer is better but I prefer fast casual over table service if I'm eating alone. On a related note, I think I've recommended this before but if anyone is over on the east side of town and wants amazing takeout wings, Tez Wings at NE 10th and Air Depot is excellent. ultimatesooner 01-15-2019, 05:44 PM Wingstop Wings are good my wife likes the basic flavors - the Habanero ones have some real kick - i usually get a half dozen of those and then switch to hers even though i like hot stuff lol we use the NW expressway/Rockwell one but living in Bethany the Portland one should be about the same drive time |
