There is an intriguing collection of functional art at the JRB Art Gallery in the Paseo Arts District. You can find chairs, foot stools, pottery and other works by 12 artists, including Lynn Smiser Bowers, Merry Cox, Birthe Flexner, Gayle Singer, Joe Slack, and Charleen Weidell. The opening reception was last Friday night, but the exhibition runs until November 19.
