Hey All...

For years I have passed off and on by this abandoned school. It's small and my guess is that it was an elementary school that fed into some other schools. Was it part of OKC, Oakdale, Millwood School District? Anyone know the name , history, or attended this school?

It's just to the East side of a church...the school is at the intersection.

Lone Star school. Okc school district and closed in 80's if I remember correct.

That is correct, Lone Star. As for when it closed, I'm not sure but I drove by it twice a day (to work and back) and I would agree it was in the 80's. I don't know if it was a dependent school (kindergarten through eighth grade) or just a grade school (kindergarten through sixth grade) but I'm pretty sure it was the latter.
