There is a blocked article on NEWSOK in which it was reported that the above is requesting OKC taxpayers contact the Mayor and Council members to seek a taxpayer bailout.

Yeah I saw that this morning. Seemed to me like they basically called it quits for the time being.

Kind of sad to see this go away.

Not sure how much of a use it is now these days.

I remember the all college tournament growing up in the 80's/90's. Then it was a 4 team tournament.
My father remembers the all college being the premier holiday tournament back in the 50's. They played in the civic center back then.

Now they holiday tournaments are mainly out of the country.

Definitely remember the All Sports Association; these guys had quite a portfolio for amateur athletics dated back to the All College Tournament at the old Municipal Auditorium (Civic Center Music Hall). They were instrumental in bringing minor league baseball to OKC with construction of All Sports Stadium & State Fair Arena at State Fair Park in the 60s which cost $1 million & $2 million respectively.

Sad to see this group disburse; they were the founders of OKC sports. Don't know of any of the original members are alive today.
