I don’t recall ever experiencing this many power outages when I lived near Tinker AFB. This area seems to suffer from chronic power outages, but it could just be that I’ve been home more often to notice them after my schedule changed. Is it just me, or do we in east Canadian County lose power more than “normal?”

I live in Yukon. Near I-40 and mustang Rd for 7 years now. I've never lost power. I've had 1 power flash but that's it.

This outage must have just missed you. We’ve been without power for almost three hours.

We also lost power last week and the week before then.

Weird. I don't know what the issue is and why my housing edition is immune to it. I have a generator just in case but we've never had to use it. Anyone else?

I believe I've already told the story in this forum of how I got my first UPS many moons ago because of OG&E's inability to provide power in Mustang.

I live out by airport and we lost power last night as well, so it was more than just Mustang.

7K OGE customers were w/o power parts of yesterday according to the newscast. On June 23 due to a storm we were w/o power for 13 hours off HWY 92 between Mustang and Yukon. Everybody needs to report it when the power goes off. They're not going to upgrade the infrastructure until they're tired of hearing from us IMO.
