For those that may not know, Tim Blake Nelson is from Tulsa and is a character actor you will recognize from roles in movies such as O Brother, Where Art Thou? and Holes. Despite his often playing people that are rather dim he went to Holland Hall and graduated from Brown University and Juilliard. He also is George Kaiser's nephew.

"Can't ya see it, Everett? Them si-reens did this to Pete. They loved him up and turned him into a hhhorny toad!" One of my favorite scenes from O Brother, Where Art Thou (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0190590/videoplayer/vi990878745)? ;)

(Sorry for the tangent)

Cool, but... why didn't they just film this in Tulsa? I'm guessing Georgia offers better incentives for film and TV?

I feel like every other show/movie I watch these days is being made in Georgia. They must have put a lot into incentivizing (sp?) the industry. I'm sure the weather makes it easier for year-round shoots. I seem to remember a recent interview with Walking Dead showrunners saying as much.

yep. it's in the big three right now. It's Los Angeles, Georgia, and Vancouver. I think nice weather has a lot to do with it, then add in lots of incentives.
