I have heard that the Golden Corral store on the NW Expressway will be remodeling soon, as soon as it warms up. It will be their new Gateway design.

Believe a similar building permit has been issued for the I-240 location. Seems like they remodeled/rebuilt that location not so many years ago.

I wish they'd redo the one in mwc as well, it hasn't been updated really since it first opened..... I'd rather go to the one on 240 for bigger selection but mwc is closer ...

yes I have looked at the permit, the GM is out with a broken leg at the store on the NW Expressway so it will be next

Pretty sure that one was torn down and completely rebuilt within the last 10 years.

That one just needs a total rebuild. It was built when the buffet at GC was mostly a salad bar.

The smaller ones they will not do, like the one at 4th and North McArthur, what I have read they will close for 4 months for the remodel, the Managers on the NW Expressway think they can do it at night after they close and then clean for 2 hours then reopen, shoot that would take longer than 4 months I would think.

IMO: IF they are remodeling and closing down, Feast will be packed. Plan accordingly.

Good news about the remodel & the temporary closing, now it should help me shed the 4 lbs., needed to get my BMI on target.

Limited myself to one night per month at an all-you-can eat buffet; it doesn't help to see signs like Golden Corral or Taste of China lit up.
