Forever and ever, we've cruised through Nichols Hills looking at Christmas lights. In my younger days I did a lot of outdoor decor on our five acres and I copied more than one idea from Nichols Hills houses. Now we can only drive around and look. What other neighborhoods have beautiful lights? We're not looking for big parks to walk through - just neighborhoods with pretty house decorations.

Check out the Markwell Lights. All of the houses on the street are synchronized to music.

Cruise Grand Blvd. in Nichols Hills.

Also, Heritage Hills and Mesta Park have a lot of more traditional displays.

Unfortunately it appears that the house with the great synchronized display at 19th and Olie is no more.

Last year the parking lot NW of it was closed off and this year they didn't even put the lights out.

It's still one of my favorite neighborhoods to drive through and look at the lights.
