Does anyone have any idea what the construction will be at Rock Creek and Porter? They are breaking ground in all directions from the 7-11/liquor store strip mall thing. Just curious...

looked like they were cutting roads this morning. I would guess apartments or duplexes. the area right behind where they are building always looks kind of rough.

That area is always an eyesore. I was hoping for something new other than apartments. :Smiley099

New 7-11 with adjoining stores.

I lived there for 10 years and always felt like that intersection was in massive need of new commercial development. That guy who owns the land on the lake on the SW Corner will have a nice payday at some point in the future.

After considerable digging I found the contruction plans that were approved by council last year. I would assume that these are still what they are planning on building. https://norman.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=F&ID=4689126&GUID=5A9A45AB-FC6E-46C9-ACD3-9BE658C4376C

Looks like it will consist of five new retail buildings and four new duplex's that wont connect to sequoyah trails but to a new road. As well as what I can only assume are two retention ponds. Although I cant tell if the plans there indicate that the gas station will be replaced or not.
