Had dinner here last night. The place is small, with maybe seating for around 20 at the tables plus another 6-8 at the bar. Started with some lobster bisque and had the ribeye and onion frites. My lobster bisque was good but not great, but my steak was cooked perfectly and had really nice flavor. Others in my group started with salads and all got filets with creamed corn and some kind of whipped potatoes, with a couple of the larger filets being slightly overcooked (medium instead of medium rare). I tried a bite of one of the filets and it had very good flavor. The menu stated that all their steaks are a wagyu style beef sourced from a farm in Oklahoma. All in all, we had a good meal and enjoyed the atmosphere. We will definitely go back.

It's difficult to find due to minimal signage, but it's next door to En Croûte. There is table seating for 18 plus eight at the bar. The staff was enthusiastic when I dropped in for a drink at 6:00, and it was a little early so I was the only customer. It was darker than the image above seems to indicate. The prices are steep for starters, entrees, sides and sauces. My cocktail was good but cost $10.00 + $2.20 taxes, so $15.00 including tip. Higher-end nearby competition will be tough: New En Croûte next door, newish Hutch across the street, established Metro across Western. Maybe there's room for them in the Western Avenue/Nichols Hills area.

Definitely not a cheap meal, but that was to be expected. I've yet to try it, but I've heard overall good review. With such a small space, I don't think they will have a problem. There is some competition nearby with the Ranch, Michael's, Metro, Meat Market Refectory and to a lesser extent Hutch but this is just enough different, and more intimate, that I imagine they will do well.
