This is awesome! Dodgers radio voice Alex Freedman adds in a video on NewsOK that the scoreboard will be turned into a retro style scoreboard and they are working on some type of 89ers giveaway.

Love this. Always hated that we lost the 89ers moniker over the years and got Redhawks forced on us because of the failed NHL pursuit years ago. Not personally a fan of the Dodgers name, but other folks seem to like it. Meh. Dodger name has nothing at all to do with OKC. Bring back the Niners and Good Time Baseball!

This is gonna be awesome. Have fond memories of goimg to the fairgrounds when I was a kid to watch games.
