Wow.... I remember eating at the soft opening of that Applebee's back in the 90's when I was a poor musician and we played a gig out at Pam's Gateway East (Think it's called The Ice House now or was last time I was through there)..... Wasn't going to pass up a free meal!

Not much of a surprise Applebee's had to close. Food and service had been on the decline for a while there. If you ordered a drink in there, the waiter might act like he had no idea what you were talking about, perhaps related to sending out waiters too young to take alcohol orders. Anyway, you risk being in for an embarrassing experience when ordering alcohol in a Stillwater restaurant, like when Monday is a holiday.
It will be interesting to see if 5 guys burgers are as good as the ones at the Garage. Five Guys will be next door to Pie Five Pizza. Some people thought it was a joke.
