The store will be located at 708 N. Broadway and will officially open its doors on May 12th.

For 22 years, OK Runner has had a Norman location and for the last 11, a store in Edmond.

In addition to selling a wide variety of running shoes, athletic clothing and accessories, OK Runner hosts weekly group runs in Norman and Edmond and plans on providing the same every weekday at lunch at their new location. The runs are free and the downtown store plans to add free yoga and coaching with training plans as well.

Store hours will be 10AM to 7PM Monday through Friday and 10AM to 5PM on Saturdays.

The 2,500 square foot store will also offer gate analysis to help runners and walkers determine the correct shoe type.

On June 7th, the store is planning a day-long celebration for National Running Day which will include a cookout.

The new store will be near the finish line of the OKC Memorial Marathon and also on the new streetcar line.

Seems strange to not be open later on Saturdays and even on Sunday. Weekends are the best retail days from what I understand, but maybe their clientele is different.
