Infill development proposed for I-44 and SW 59th.
Looks like a Love's or similar on the corner (note diesel pumps in the rear), two hotels in the back and some other commercial use including a possible small grocery.

Guessing it may include the new concept Love's spoke about. Mixing the convenience store/filling station with the hotel for the ultimate hospitality experience? Does anyone remember the article?

Love's is rolling out hotels with their new stores. You are probably right Cramer

That's interesting. I like Love's when it's a newer store, but if its old they seem to be kind of run down. I stopped at one in Louisiana or Mississippi, can't remember, but I wanted to shop Okie, and remember thinking it was pretty dirty. By no means terrible though.

Nah, I think the new OnCue's are better than QuikTrip's and that is coming from a guy who grew up in Tulsa.

The airport seems to have missed the mark yet again.

This development is going to be a blight on the surrounding neighborhood that is already having issues. They don't need a truck stop and some motels added. Bad idea.

Meh, I think that's a reach, Spartan. Being in that location doesn't lend itself to really being a major truck stop. And there is also the possibility that this could provide employment for many in that area.

Did this project fall through? Not a sign of any work out here.
No building permit applications as of yet.
