I thought that FTC had turned the corner when J.C. Watts came in to head the organization after much of its previous management upheaval seemed to have abated. I was even more surprised to hear of his abrupt departure just a few months later. Apparently, he found plenty to question about the management of the organization, and those concerns led to a formal inquiry. Looks like D.A. Prater is heading it up.
I can't see this turning out well for whatever is left of FTC given the excerpts from Watts' letter reprinted in the article linked above. About the most gracious thing you can say is that it wasn't...and isn't...very well managed.
