Malarkeys Dueling Piano Bar opens tonight in Bricktown in the old Candy spot on Sheridan.

Jeff Rogers acquired the name and equipment from Cosmopolitan which is now much more of a club.

Any word on if Cosmopolitan changed other than removing the pianos?

Cosmo now has a dance floor but also has a whiskey room that is smaller and has it's own bar.

Nice. I used to work in Bricktown for the Brewers at their dueling piano bar back in the day. It was a great time and a great side job in my early 20's.

A well done dueling piano bar is very entertaining.

I was here over the weekend and can tell you that if you have ever been to Michael Murphy's, you'll be sorely disappointed with this place. It's a nice place but the talent is terrible. The piano players and drummers were drinking while playing (which tells you the quality of the music). The drink menu had a horrible selection and the prices were sky high. I was there on Saturday night and at its peak, there was a max of 50 people in there. Hopefully it will improve with time, but I don't think it will be here in 6 months if they don't spend some money on advertising and drastically improve in the aforementioned areas.

I thought Beard Face mentioned that the pianos were gone?

He was talking about Cosmopolitan, not Malarkeys.
