Hi everybody. I was introduced to this forum by a good friend of mine. He has told me a lot about the discussions that go on here, so I thought I would give it a whirl. As a matter of fact, I really like this idea of Premium membership. I may get with the administrator, and see what I need to become a premium member. I live in north OKC, however, I work as a loan officer at a credit union in Midwest City. I have been married for 10 years, and I have a beautiiful 8 year old girl.

I am an avid ham radio operator, and one of my favorite things to do is to chase storms for the Okla. County Civil Defense.

Hey Stormchaser, we're so happy to have you here. Thanks for the intro. Your handle fits you well, especially since storm chasing is your hobby. This is surely the time of the year for it.

Hey, if you'd be interested in becoming a Premium Subscriber, we'd be happy to have you help us out with the operating expenses of this forum. If you need more info, please send me a PM or contact Todd via PM.

Hi!

I am called several names....Darla is my birth name but I answer to Mom, Grandma, Aunt Dorie and several more depending on whether I'm behind the wheel of an automobile. I am a native Oklahoman with stopovers in Canada, 3 years, Beaver Lake, Ar, 16 years, Yukon, 5 years. I am an avid gardener, a political junkie, active letter writer on a variety of subjects.....rail transportation, depleted uranium, local city council activities, etc.

Some of my best friends tell me I'm opinionated and I can't argue the point. I've already told everyone too much. Glad to be here!!

Hello.......I am a former OKC'er who has lived in Tokyo for the past 8 years.

It's been kind of fun checking out some of the topics (esp. the nostalgia stuff) on these boards. I'm surrounded by 150 Japanese software programmers who don't relate much with conversations dealing with Del Rancho Steak Sandwich Supremes, Jim Traber, or OSU football. Well, Traber..maybe....but forget the rest.

Anyway....see you around.

Where is St.Andrews park?

dirtrider73068
04-28-2005, 05:43 PM
Andrews park is in downtown next to the railroad tracks. Its just south of the post office and the police station. If you are on gray street adn see the post office just turn left and you will see it. If you come off of 35 and take the highway 77 exit or flood street cross robison and go down to acres I think there is a light there now a muffler shop is on the corner turn left and that will take you right by there. If you need more better directions let me know.

Hello Everyone,

I'm the Dungeon Master. This may sound weird to some of you but It's my title. I own a dungeon located in Bricktown, OKC.
A dungeon you say?
Yes, It's an amusment ride opening up in July.
I was born and raised in South OKC and went to the Moore school district. I joined the Air Force and years later went to the Okla Air National Guard where I am currently employed.
For a hobby I set up haunted houses and rides to provide clean, fun entertainment for families to enjoy.
OK, this guy is really weird. Well, blame it on my dad. He started it (when I was young).
Anyway, I'm glad to be aboard and hope to see this site progress as OKC/Bricktown progresses. I think it's great to see our town finally get on the maps of tourism. growth is a good thing and it can only get better.
Thanks,
The Dungeon Master

Hello...

My name is Brian. I'm 32 yrs old and am currently living in Moore. I have a daughter, age 7, and am recently separated. I have lived in Oklahoma all my life.

I'm 5'10, brown hair/eyes, somewhat overweight (hey, I'm working on it). I wear glasses some of the time.

I have a great sense of humor and love to laugh. I'm a big kid at heart, but definitely know the appropriate times to be serious.

I work in one of the many call centers in the OKC metro area, providing world class customer service to many wireless phone users throughout the country. (lol, how's that for some B.S. ) Seriously though, I do work in cust service, and I do enjoy my job. I have been involved this occupation, in various forms, for 10+ years. I enjoy working with people and giving a helping hand when possible.

My interests include surfing the 'net (otherwise why would I be here), hanging out with friends (either in small groups or one-on-one), current events, politics, movies, music. I am considered to have a middle-of-the-road and somewhat liberal view on various issues, but am open minded and am willing to listen to opposing view points, no matter how wrong they might be. (hehe...see? there's that sense of humor I was talking about)

I'm looking for new friends to chat/talk with. I check my email often and usually have some sort of chat program running (usually Yahoo Msgr or AIM).

Hi, I'm new here today. My name is Erin. I just moved to Oklahoma City with my partner in December 2004, so I'm still getting to know the city and finding my way around. I'm...ummmm...between jobs right now, but ACTIVELY looking (please let me know if you know of any job openings. At this point, I'll consider almost anything!). Once I pay down the balance on my student loan, I will be going to OSU-OKC to study nursing. Anything else you want to know, just ask. It's good to meet everyone.

Looking forward to meeting some good clean people.
