Saw where this is opening up in Penn Square Mall. I do not know if this is going to be a kiosk or actual store front location. Got it's start in New York City. Seems to be expanding. Nice looking macaroons!!

A macaron is a different type of cookie compared to a macaroon.

Saw it yesterday, it is a kiosk, under the escalator, right outside the updated Apple store.

$40 (incl. tax) for a dozen macarons seems a little steep. What's the over/under on how long it takes the novelty to wear off and they close shop?

When we go to NYC or any other big city and go to a macaron shop, we typically pay around $3 for one, so the pricing seems to be on par. Although to me, this doesn't seem to be a good fit for Penn Square, I can see this fitting in well at Classen Curve or Nichols Hills Plaza, but I guess they're relying on the foot traffic at Penn Square. Hopefully do they okay since there's not really a dedicated macaron shop in the metro. I know there's Belle Kitchen but macarons seem to be a small percent of their menu now.

Hopefully they are as good as Ladurées. MY wife will spend a lot of money on those little cookies.

There's no chance, as their only US locations are in NYC, Miami and LA, but I was thinking how awesome it would be for us to get a Laduree here.
