I'm going to be launching a 'celebrity sandwich' Dec. 7th at 6PM at Slaughter's.

$1 of each sandwich sold during the month will go to one of my favorite charities, the Oklahoma Humane Society.


Come on by, let me shake your hand, meet some fellow OKCTalkers, have a beer and maybe a sandwich.

I'm sure I'll be there until at least 8PM.

I put it on my calendar for next week so that I remember.

Need to do one on a Friday or Saturday evening. Weeknights just don't work for me.

I work nights and weekends, am off Tue and Wed, I just might drive from the country to do it.

Yep... The avacado cream will tame the heat a little too.... At first when you mentioned crab cakes previously I was kind of like.... meh..... but now that I see the entire list of ingredients... It sounds tasty!

They had a crabcake special sandwich I had a few months back that was fantastic.

That is why I wanted to do something similar this time.

I'll try to make it myself, although won't be partaking of the (yuck) crabcake....

The sandwich was a hit. It's not spicy at all and in fact, next time I order it I'm going to ask for some extra heat.

Wasn't able to make it this time; my son was late getting back from Tulsa therefore I had to keep my 2 year old grandson.
