I know this has been discussed in the Uptown 23rd thread as this was where Open Streets has been held since it came here (2 years?), but they have changed the location for this year's event.

This year's Open Streets will be held October 23rd from 1:00 - 5:00 pm on South Robinson Ave, starting at Wiley Post Park to historic Capitol Hill.

I'm glad that they are changing locations and I think that this will be an opportunity for the masses to see an area they may not be familiar with.

Yes, Last fall there was an open streets that took place on 25th, 29th and s. robinson. Not a huge turn out but it was really fun. It's great having community events that attract people from both the north and south sides of the city.
