Nice improvement to see the sidewalk being added from Bryant all the way to the railroad tracks.
The resurfacing that was done on 4th street was done poorly in my opinion. It's like they skipped over some spots. They scraped some of the concrete to look new but left many blotches

Absolutely agree on both counts. I'm not sure what ODoT's intention for improving surface quality on 4th street was, but I don't see much improvement.
As far as the new sidewalks go -- awesome news for kids trying to get to Highland East or those wanting a safe walking option to to Veterans Park. My only hope is they also do the same along Bryant, which is equally as difficult/dangerous to traverse for pedestrians.

This is such a pathetic repaving attempt. I figured they were shaving the top layer off to place a nice new coat on top.

I would see them working/scraping at night on my way home from work and the next day would see areas they missed. I was expecting them to return to the areas they missed when done but they didn't.
Honestly..it was better the way it was before they did it all.
I can't see how the supervisor of the project could've walked away from the project without being satisfied with their work. Maybe I'm missing out on something but I wouldn't call that a "project well done"
