Left work today and noticed some Earth moving equipment in the vacant lot at the SE corner of SW 29th and Council across from the fire station. Looks like they have some stakes in the ground as well. Any word on what will be going in here?

I remember reading something about this location... Maybe OKC Central chat with Steve a couple of weeks ago? Wal Mart Neighborhood Market? I can't remember....

The 7-11 at SW 37th and and Council is suppossed to be moving to the SW 29th and council area. It is possibly the start of this move.

Yes I do believe it's the 7-11 relocating.

That could be. They need a LOT more parking at that 7-11. I go there a couple times a week to get something to eat for lunch and that 7-11 is packed every day.

Last I heard this is expected to be their new station layout that is similar to OnCue. The current location is way to small for the amount of traffic it sees.

Dove by earlier today. Gas pumps are being installed, canopy is up and concrete work is done. Pumps look exactly like 7-11 new pumps and new building design.
