There is some sort of building going up on one of the pad sites in front of the Walmart at NW Expressway and Council. No signage as to what it will be. Anyone know more about this?

That means that, even in cold or wet weather, someone has to pull the items, then cart them out to the pick up area. Maybe they have a good reason for doing this (traffic?), but it seems like a lot of extra labor. jn1780 12-01-2016, 03:53 PM I don't understand them putting this all the way out across the parking lot. Any online pickup order (except for groceries?) will most likely be dropped off directly at this pickup center. For groceries, i guess they will keep a truck with a lift gate on hand. Hauling a cart across the parking lot would be impractical and dangerous. It is extra labor, but I guess its because there is no breathing room where they normally place the pickup area. A forklift or stacker could be utilized to move the merchandise from the store to the pick up station. |
