just saw the sign up but I don't think they are open yet. It's called Miller Jack's BBQ. It's on Garth Brooks where the Orange Leaf was, next to the chase bank. Pretty sure they weren't open as there was a work truck backed up to the door.

Damn that was fast. I did a few google searches but came up with nothing. It kept thinking I was asking about jack miller's which is a place in Louisiana. I wish they had a menu ready online but I'm sure I'll check it out soon. Thanks for the info.

It appears they are the same family that owns/owned Jack's BBQ in Anadarko.... I've heard it has closed but have not confirmed that.... If that is the case the menu could be very similar to this one....

Ha... You are right! Probably not a good example of their menu. ;)

We tried to go to the Anadarko location last year but they were closed on Saturday.... So I can't really tell you much about the food.

They have their menu posted on FB now..... https://www.facebook.com/302211633448883/menu/?p_ref=pa

Hey Pete, or Martin, could we get this thread moved to the restaurants section and renamed to Miller Jack's BBQ or should I just start a new thread for it?

Thanks Martin!

I plan on trying to make it out there within the next week or two to give them a try.

I saw on their FB page they are serving pork steaks and I haven't been able to get my pork steak fix since Stevenson's in Pauls Valley closed.

just gave it a try for dinner tonight. I got the pig out plate and split it with the wife to try a little of everything
ribs-subpar
sliced brisket-slightly above par
chopped brisket-very good maybe the best thing they have
bbq chicken breast-slightly above average
hot link-above average
rolls-excellent

Would you recommend other people to give it a go?

It's definitely worth a try. It is served Cafeteria style where there are the heated pans and it looks like they added some water to them so the ribs are just floating in warm water/grease. I think this kinda messed it up. But the stuff that wasn't like that (chopped brisket and hot links) were good and the pulled pork looked good. The rolls are bigger than your fist and they were quite delicious. The meatloaf obviously wasn't like that either so it may be worth a try and the fried chicken tenders looked good. I should have gotten okra as it didn't look like it was from a frozen bag but who knows.

Also this was just their 2nd day open, it's bound to get a little better in time.

Well I haven't made it out there to try this place yet but apparently it may no longer be there. Spotted this post on their FB page this morning.

Good afternoon everybody. I have some great news to share with each of you. This weekend we were able to sell the Resturant and the new owners will be moving it to another community. The sad side of this is that we will be closed. Starting Monday September 12, they plan on beginning the move and do not plan to be open in Yukon at all.

I appreciate each of you and am still a little stunned but the timing and price are right so I know it's the right thing to do.

Thank you again for all your support.

Very respectfully
Tony Gregory.

I was all set to go try it, then I saw the pictures they posted online. Based on those, I think the concept they were going for was "we're a cafeteria, come eat here High School students!". (The seating is folding chairs? Really?) Not being a High School student, I passed.

They were open what, a month and a half? And then they suddenly post "Great news! We're closing!"? Can't say I get it.

Nope... Doesn't make any sense and why would someone buy it just to move it?
