Anyone know what is going on with the former gas station site on the east side of I-35 just south of NE 36th Street? Someone has been adding little bits and pieces to it for months now, but I still can't figure it out.

It's stupid, and has been under construction for over a year... I cannot believe they were given a permit to erect something so terrible in a high profile stretch of major highway....

The accessor just lists it as Newey Family Partners, so it could be anything. My guess is a restaurant that's having a hard time getting the money to get finished, which does not bode well for it staying open once it's been finished.

Sounds like a dentist office for kids. Maybe a child care.

Reminds me of a Dali type thing. The Dali museum in St Pete has weird stuff like that too.

It's a restaurant called "Po' Boys Seafood" and it's been under construction for quite a while. A little more information can be found in this thread: http://www.okctalk.com/showthread.php?t=41677&highlight=po+boys+seafood

Thanks for the link. I did a quick search before I posted, but still missed that one.

Quite welcome. It took me a while to find it myself!
