Denver has traded forward Joffrey Lauvergne to Oklahoma City for two future second-round picks, league sources tell @TheVertical.

Possible ripple-effect of the trade: There's a pretty good chance Mitch McGary isn't going to play another game with the Thunder.

This is interesting... I like Matt Moore's take here: http://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/nuggets-trade-joffrey-lauvergne-to-thunder-for-two-second-round-picks/

Maybe Lauvergne will get some minutes along with Adams, Kanter, Ilyasova, and Sabonis in the frontcourt. Maybe management thinks Sabonis may need some time to develop... Or, the Thunder are positioning themselves for a larger move. If there was one, I think Kanter would be the most likely guy getting moved in a deal. This definitely seems like the end of the Mitch McGary era.

He's a good offensive talent. Struggles on D:

Essentially his loan that was secured by his ~20% ownership in the Thunder was paid off through an sale of assets in the SCOOP. I assume it could still be at risk as the estate gets unwound, however as of right now it is safe.
