Regarding pawn shops. .
There used to be a hellacious pawn of "old world" quality on the NE corner of 23 and Penn. . . Its been gone for many years. . Replaced by an endless morass of chain pawn stores. . .bland, uninspiring and nothing but a collection of aged video games, 10 speeds and the occasional antiquated 480 TV, that weighs a ton. . .
Are there any decent pawn shops in the city that have been around for a few years. . I would like to do some searching for some antiquated (tube type) "stereo equipment" and maybe a few good serviceable buggy whips. .
Any suggestions for pawn shops?
