Oh, and in the 80's Joker's Comedy Club was back in the mall and did very well there.
I saw Jerry Seinfeld there 2 or 3 times and Jay Leno as well.

Martin 12-29-2017, 09:42 AM It was quite small and only one story... cool... thanks for the history lesson today! never heard of this space. i've heard butterfield's mentioned before but didn't realize where it was at... i always assumed it was somewhere on meridian near i-40. If you saw that Super Saver Cinema, it was the same footprint of the mall. traxx 01-02-2018, 11:03 AM That was a great budget theater. Actually done well. My friends and I went there often. It was a great place for a cheap movie. But after some shootings, stabbings, and murders there, it got a bad rep. TheirTheir 01-02-2018, 01:59 PM Some of my earliest memories include that theater, as well as the arcade that was next to it. Is it possible that Jokers turned into that arcade? But black, beige, and lime green never looked so good together. The landscaping looks pretty decent on plans, fingers crossed that they maintain it after zoning inspection. theilluminatedfirefly 08-19-2018, 05:43 PM Man, that’s some pretty heinous architecture right there. I kept thinking the green, (or the black or the beige) was the weathering proofing board that would be covered over - lolol. Joke is on me, I guess. I wonder if the Dental Depot is still planned there as well as strip center development behind Outback and Buffalo Wild Wings? pw405 09-12-2018, 08:57 AM After what seemed like nothing was occurring on this site for a month or two... it seems that the activity has exploded back to life and they are zooming on the second hotel.
