Besides the new small strip center that is going in on the old Midas Muffler site, I noticed dirtwork being done on the old Braum's site immediately west of the 7-11. I did not see any indication of what was going in, but all of the old concrete store pad had been torn out.

When was there ever a Braums at May and Hefner to the west of 7-11? I'm trying to picture it... Are you talking about that little diner next to the Exotic car dealership?

Can't find any permits for this work, so I have no idea what is going on there.

It was an original Braums building. THey sold it when the new one opened just north on May. Dina's Diner was there until it burned a few years ago.
