Legendary radio disc jockey Charlie Tuna (who once worked at KOMA) has died at age 71. Tuna was a larger-than-life personality at KHJ in Los Angeles as an original "Boss Jock," and at other LA radio stations over the years. He also simulcasted 6000 radio shows from '71 to '96 on the Armed Forces Radio Network making him beloved among veterans. He was a true giant of Top 40 radio, and his philanthropy and work for non-profits in LA will be sorely missed. What a guy.

Edit: Just learned he became ill about 2 weeks ago, was hospitalized with full expectations for a complete recovery, but died in his sleep.

Here's a nice video tribute released tonight, voiced by Charlie Van Dyke.
Not sure why this won't display properly. But if you start it and then go full view, you can see it all.
Or you can see it here at YouTube. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0bIIt_0bvVc)
