I recently had a pair of eyeglasses broken at the weld. I have since replaced them. When I went to eyeglass stores they told me only jewelers have the equipment to fix the weld. I went to a few jewelers and they told me that is not allowed in Oklahoma for jewelers to fix eyeglasses. I was also told that some will. I would like to fix my old eyeglasses as a backup. So any advice is welcome.

There is a place directly across the street from Byron's Liquor warehouse. West side of Broadway, JUST South of 23rd. Go there.

Credit Jewelry on Broadway, just south of 23rd, directly across from Byon's. They've put a few pairs of glasses back together for me and the fix was cheap and quick. Good people.

Mitchener-Farrand were the only jewelers that figured out how to make a square wedding band hammered on two sides (out of the 3 I tried), so give them a shot, Wilshire & May, may be more expensive than others, not sure on that type of thing.
