Does anyone have any suggestions for good flea markets around the metro and suburbs? I've been going to the Cleveland County one at the fairgrounds. It's had some good stuff, and I've had a renewed interest in going to them, just for something to do.

I make it a point to go to Mary's every couple of years just for the experience.

I used to go to Mary's a lot. Both as a shopper and a seller. But it's been a while. The last few time I was there, it was becoming another version of Old Paris, which is not a compliment.

Yes. I haven't been in cold weather though. It's mostly outside.

We go to Mary's several times during warmer weather.
This is a pic I snapped of it while droning in the area one day last year...

I really don't consider it anything like Old Paris. To me OP is just basically a low rent mall inside with small business owners who continually restock the same new merchandise on the cheap.
Mary's is pretty much a wide open garage sale. I've seen everything from goats to used hand soap (seriously). I pick up used tools there and Guineas from time-to-time. I've bought some really good professional lawn equipment there in the past.
My wife's dad used to go there often for old car parts I'm told.
I mostly go as an excuse to get out of the house, walk around and the people watching is pretty entertaining too. But occasionally I come home with something.

I definitely agree on your opinion about Old Paris. A big garage sale is more what I'm after so I will definitely check this out.

Ok... I know what you meant but..... That last sentence dang near made me spit water all over my monitor!
Yes, my mind occasionally goes there! ;)

Same here, I go for the neo-medieval market flavor. Plus, nostalgia I suppose. My dad bought and sold stuff most of his life for extra money and we spent a few Saturdays 40+ years ago at Mary's selling stuff.
