The old Midas Muffler shop on north May just south of Hefner (on the west side just south of the Little Caesars) has been razed and all the pavement on the site has been removed. Does anyone know what is going in there?

I believe it burned down recently. Or at least, I live in the area and drive past it daily and it looked like it had burned down. I'd imagine they are rebuilding.

I don't remember a fire; I think they have been slowly deconstructing it from the inside-out.

The building frame is either being repurposed elsewhere, or sold for scrap. I didn't pass by the couple days when it was without skin or roof, so I can't speak to how delicately they disassembled...
