Driving home tonight I saw lots of dirtwork between the Walgreens and the Health Department building. It's a prime retail space. Any ideas what's going in?

Here's what I found (pdf from Norman website) https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=2&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwiHrdaX3KvJAhWIK4gKHfdwCqEQFggoMAE&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.normanok.gov%2Ffilebrowser_do wnload%2F681%2FPlanning%2520and%2520Development%2F Planning%2520and%2520Zoning%2FPre-Development%2520Meetings%2FArchive%2FPD15-04%2520XII%2520Street%2520Commons%2520-%2520Eastpark%2520Crossing.pdf&usg=AFQjCNHOUINEbeaNDPlppHSaJtHMltRHrA&sig2=pBz5rZbMSs0Sx9zRQx8p4A&bvm=bv.108194040,d.cGU Looks like a mixed use commercial and office development. Retail - 30,000 sq. ft Office/Business - 15,000 sq. ft. Del Taco - 2,470 sq. ft. Fast Food - 2,850 sq. ft. Coffee Shop - 1,825 sq. ft. Bank - 4,895 sq. ft. zacelliott 11-26-2015, 07:46 PM Huh. Well that's neat. Coffee Shop sounds like Starbucks to me. The store in Moore is pretty much exactly 1800 sq ft and looks like the building in Lot 3. Wonder if it's gonna be 30k sq ft for one retail store, or a strip mall type layout with a few stores. I can't think of a 30k sq ft store that would be good in that area. |
