If we hadn't had enough bad news in local sports today, now there is this.

Bethany's Hudson Haws paralyzed below waist after breaking three vertebrae in football game Friday | News OK (http://newsok.com/bethanys-hudson-haws-paralyzed-below-waist-after-friday-night-injury/article/5455765)

Hopefully this young man will be able to make a complete recovery.

Very kind of you to make a comment on him. He goes to school with my daughter and is a great kid. There will be updates on Hudson's progress on caringbridge.org Look under Prayforhud or Hudson Haws.

Tonight I went through the drive-thru at the Raising Cane's on Expressway and I was in the passenger seat, so I didn't hear everything that was said, but they were asking for donations for someone who became paralyzed from the waste down and I'm pretty sure it was Hudson Haws.

Really like the fact that there's so much local support going towards a young man that's only a few years younger than me playing the game that he loves similar to how I did a few years ago at PCO. Prayers for a speedy and full recovery.
