Finally broke ground. Here is a the article from the paper. I like how wrong the paper got the existing locations. They don't even talk about the one in Moore on in OKC (on Reno). Of course the Mustang Paper is known for having many errors.

They are popping these things up everywhere. The one in Norman has been pretty empty lately as I pass it at lunch.

Now chick-fil-a on the other hand....I never see the parking lot not full and the drive through completely slammed. I guess I don't understand the chicken love?

I think it's going to do well here in Mustang. Will probably be the best chicken in town IMO.

It's good to see they will be "brining their famous chicken to Mustang" .... brining helps add moisture to the meat. ;)

Last week they stated sometime in October. It looks to be getting real close when I looked at it yesterday.

It's just mainly about fried food. If you love fried food, you'll love it. I went to the one in Stillwater and wasn't impressed enough to come back yet. Neither was a friend. Maybe the college students love it. It's a shorter trip from campus than Chick-fil-a. Another one is supposed to open on the far west side of Stillwater.

IMO it's very similar to Canes. I enjoy it for fast food chicken.
