Pepe passed away in April. I hoped the restaurant would survive, but evidently it's closing today. So it's sort of a last chance. They've been here since the 80's. It was my first waiting job, and my dad was friends with Pepe, so it is personal for me. Lots of friends and relatives will be there tonight, so if you feel like coming by, look for the fat bald guy with the long beard. Come say hi.

That definitely sucks. What time do they close today? Might try to go up there for dinner one last time...

They didn't say a time, but I know they're doing their enchilada special, so I'd suspect normal time. 9-ish?

Good news! Just heard they're trying to make a run at staying open.
