Pete 08-12-2018, 07:36 AM Looks like they have all the plantings in now and the work is pretty much complete. http://www.okctalk.com/images/pete/andrews081118a.jpg dankrutka 08-12-2018, 03:53 PM Quite a picture, Pete. HOT ROD 08-12-2018, 10:41 PM the city looks awesome. Look at that infill! That is probably due to the design... I predict a dead-grass pathway. Pete 10-18-2018, 10:01 AM I've noticed they many people do not use the sidewalks to get from the parking to the gym. That is probably due to the design... I predict a dead-grass pathway. Parks people call these "outlaw paths" and indicate the need for additional sidewalks. Ross MacLochness 10-18-2018, 10:36 AM 14962 Hey, but it looks great on Google Maps ;) OkiePoke 10-18-2018, 12:32 PM Is that the main door? There is one on the south, but yes. shawnw 10-18-2018, 01:32 PM seems like the sidewalks on the south side might lead to a door, weird to do it that way if not the main entrance, but also weird to put the parking on the opposite side if the south entrance is where you intended folks to go. OKCRT 10-18-2018, 05:44 PM There were some really good basketball players that used to go to the gym back in the day. I don't know how it is these days but the gym used to be pretty full of basketball players daily. onthestrip 10-19-2018, 11:39 AM Hey, but it looks great on Google Maps ;) Too many architects seem to only care about how things look in a photo, not how it functions. Architect2010 10-19-2018, 09:03 PM Yeah, seems to be an obvious mistake in hindsight. While the meandering trails and sidewalks are nice, and should stay, there should have always been direct connections to the building's entrances. Also like how, Pete pointed this out, the Parks Department recognizes the need of sidewalks because of these "outlaw paths". Pete, does that mean there is some mechanism that allows them to address that need? shawnw 07-17-2019, 08:10 PM https://twitter.com/urbanoracle/status/1151501690320957442 Colbafone 07-18-2019, 09:32 AM https://twitter.com/urbanoracle/status/1151501690320957442 I can't tell the exact scale of this, but it a) looks huge and b) looks awesome! I love. It! Pete 07-19-2019, 08:29 AM http://www.okctalk.com/images/pete/redandrews071819a.jpg Anonymous. 07-19-2019, 09:44 AM This is cool. But looks really enticing to climb.
