Being from the DFW area I follow on Facebook MI COCINA, an upscale Tex-Mex restaurant out of Dallas. I posted a comment on one of their posts the other day that they needed to come to Oklahoma City. They responded that i need to be watching their "new location announcements" soon! That gives me every impression that they're finally making it to Oklahoma City! Fresh food and totally awesome drinks. I saw several years ago there was one in Tulsa and couldn't believe there wasn't one here.

I was totally filled with jubilation once I read that post. I'd post a picture of it here but I'm not sure how to do so.

I'm a long-time fan, but his chain is not wearing well. I went to a crowded location in Irving recently and my meal was like reheated dog food. Horrifically bad. Hope that was just a bad night. When this started, it was easily some of the best Tex-Mex around.

I agree the last couple times I've been to one in Dallas (Uptown) and in Tulsa it has been just okay. It used to be much better IMO. The atmosphere/drinks were still good though and it would be a nice addition in OKC. I worry they expanded too much and too quickly which diminished the overall quality.

Oh no that is horribly disappointing! It used to be one of my favorite places in the Dallas area, but I haven't been in a while. I hope it good whenever and wherever it opens.
