There is a rumor floating around that Carl's Jr is coming to the lot that has recently sold by Swadley's. Based on projects the company has done before it seems the most likely.

AFCM 08-28-2015, 02:35 AM Mustang, that's why I tagged it with the Mustang label. I see it now. I don't catch as much detail from my phone. okfiveo 09-15-2015, 03:41 AM There is a rumor floating around that Carl's Jr is coming to the lot that has recently sold by Swadley's. Yeah still haven't heard for sure if CJ's is what's going there, but something fast food definitely makes sense. Zuplar 08-12-2016, 11:10 AM This has fallen through. According to the City Manager report, a Verizon store will now be going there. Pete: feel free to change the title now to Verizon store. stile99 08-12-2016, 12:31 PM Blah. I'd much rather have a Carl's Jr. sgt. pepper 08-12-2016, 01:41 PM Jack in the Box didn't make it, I don't think Carl's Jr would have either. stile99 08-12-2016, 04:15 PM And yet other restaurants are doing just fine. It's quite possible that Jack in the Box was the problem. I REALLY don't want other, better restaurants looking at Mustang and saying "Well, Jack in the Box closed...". They had a good location, their replacement seems to be doing quite well though I'll admit I have no actual numbers data, just seeing what the parking lot looks like compared to what JitB's looked like. I mean, if you can open a fast food faux Mexican joint pretty much across the street from another fast food faux Mexican joint, just down the street from another fast food faux Mexican joint and make it, you gotta believe the prior tenant had issues. Zuplar 08-17-2016, 11:28 AM Yeah I agree, I think Jack in the Box was the problem. One of the worst ones I'd ever been too. |
