Nearly every major city is lighting it's skyscrapers up w rainbow lights. If OKC really wanted to be a "Big League City," now is the time to shine.

Personally I don't think the Terminal Tower will ever be topped, and Devon's LEDs are frankly weird, but it would still be cool.

Charlotte does this on their Duke Energy tower. I am not sure how well it would go over in Oklahoma City given the political and religious climate here.

in order to pull this off, the lighting system would need to completely work for the first time....don't hold your breath.

Pride weekend has been fine since 1989 and only gets bigger. I know you think you're the only progressive non homophobic person in the city, but give it up. Also don't try and act like Charlotte, North Carolina is San Francisco.

Even if it is not set up currently where they could do the normal bands you see most places, if there was a desire to mark the occasion it could have been set to rotate through the colors in period short enough people should be able to pick up the idea because it has done similar before.

That would be awesome. The other day the Sky dance Bridge was lit up rainbow for Pride (or so I assume). Could that at least be done again?

There we go. This should at least be done, as the very least we can do to promote OKC's capacity to nurture and grow diversity. This is a very important PR moment for American cities. Every competitive large city that used to be at a competitive disadvantage is seizing the opportunity now..

OKC should synchronize the lights at the Oklahoma River, SkyDance bridge, (in the future the MAPS3 park as well), Crystal Bridge, and Devon Tower - for a true "Core to Shore" spine tha we always envisioned).

More than two lights would probably crash the lighting system on the tower. For how much that tower cost, Devon sure did get ripped off on the LED lights.
