Cafe Condesa (part of the Cafe Kacao family) is now open inside the OKC Library.

I went here yesterday. Very good Torta! They had a huge staff (6 people at least). I can't imagine them keeping that big a staff there long-term. I imagine that they were there just to make sure things went smoothly. But the food came out very quick!

I bought a cup of coffee and found the carafe was full of cold stuff. They very quickly brewed a fresh pot and were quite apologetic. The coffee was very good. Might be a contender for best cup of joe downtown. It is the same good Central American stuff they serve at Kacao.

And the sandwich was very tasty, like a said. House-made chorizo, fresh guacamole, sweet onions and spicy green salsa served on good Mexican bread. Maybe a little on the expensive side when compared to other sandwich places in the area but worth it (to me) when you consider the high quality ingredients. I had a chorizo torta, a bottle of Mexican soda and a cup of coffee for around $12, so really not too bad.

I didn't realize this place is open to 5PM. Add another one to my downtown restaurant and bar list (where I exclude any place that closes after lunch).

The Cubano there is totally solid. Protip: advise passing on the reach-in cooler when grabbing a Mexican Coke and instead get one laying down on the top shelf of the open cooler. MUCH colder. Either way, feel the bottle for temperature.
