Vice President Joe Biden announced Saturday night that his son, Beau, has died
of brain cancer.

Beau Biden was a lawyer and former Delaware attorney general. He was 46.

In a statement released by the White House late Saturday night, the vice
president said his son fought his cancer "with the same integrity, courage and
strength he demonstrated every day of his life."
