The city is selling it and the national media is lapping it up, but I don't think the Wizards are in the running at all. I'm not saying he's 100% staying here; I just don't think he goes to DC if he leaves. And honestly, I doubt that he leaves. I'm more concerned about losing Russ the year after. Personally, I don't ever see Russ leaving, because he is such a polarizing player, and really outside of OKC, no one thinks he's worth what he's paid now. This city and organization are really the only ones who believe in his awesomeness. (disclaimer: this is based on my "head against brick wall" conversations I have to with my Rockets/Spurs/Mavs friends. yes, i know i have questionable friend choices) AP 11-14-2015, 09:58 AM Are you sure about that? I refuse to believe that. bradh 11-14-2015, 10:45 AM Oh there will be some teams, like I said I was just basing my opinions off what my Texas friends always joke about, saying he is not worth it and is just a stats compiler. They are JV Pros. Can't shoot, can't defend, bad hands, TO's. Take this poll down, it is a Joke with this current 2d team. No team in NBA has or will win a championship without a solid, productive 2d unit. We have seen this for several years wearing down KD, Russ, Ibaka all season leads to post season play but not championships ). Sam has not done well with his trades the one guy who never plays (I forget his name), Sigler, AMO and the grim shooter (waiters) are not paying dividends. Kanter couldn't defend me and I am old dude. He is a foul waiting to happen. Not at all a believer of a championship this year with this team as constructed. Even Lamb is playing better elsewhere. Continue to run Donovan system till our Thunder builds continuity. Give it up to Boston. Brad Stevens have the Celtics running his system after 3 years. It may take Billy some time to shed the cobwebs as the Thunder transition from Scott Brooks' system to the current one. Still see Westbrook taking the team on his back in K.D.'s absence as evident by his energy driven out-of-control attacks to the basket. While I am a little disappointed in how the Thunder have played -- particularly that they seem to be reverting to all the old habits that I hoped Donovan might address, I think they'll come around. Unforunately, the Warriors are far, far better than I imagined. So far, they look historically good. I won't be surprised if they end up being one of, or THE, best team of all time. It's not just that they're winning; it's how they're winning. They are the championship favorites by a wide margin. I did not like Singler at all last year, but after we resigned him I convinved myself that Presti, etc. saw something in him at practice that didn't show up on the court last year (mainly because he was filling in KDs rotation vs. coming off the bench with a healthy KD). So far, I have seen nothing to justify playing any more than a couple minutes a game. He shot selection has been pretty questionable and he's even struggled when he's been on the corner or elbow 3s. Is it that hard to find a two-way SG to come off the bench? It seems like we've either had a defensive specialist with no offensive threat or a 3-pt specialist the past few years... or longer. Bright side is we just beat a pretty solid Dallas team without KD. We're going to stumble for awhile, but I think the team we see come out of the All-Star break (barring any injuries) is going to be as good as anyone in the league.
