Ok, he may be a dirty basketball player, but I don't think that makes him a thug.

Steven Adams is also a dirty player, but no one calls him a thug.

I didn't know you knew what that word meant. Thug in the content of an NBA basketball player thug--Draymond Green fits that description.

The difference between Green and Adams; Green IMO is trash; Adams is trash with class.

I would like to see Green suspended on principle. On the other hand I just heard that GS is minus 48 in this series with him on the floor so him playing might not be a bad thing.

Ha ha. I definitely think the Thunder want him suspended. He might be the best power forward in the NBA unless you count Anthony Davis as a power forward. The last game is an aberration. He is also key to so much of what Golden State does on both ends of the floor that losing him could really throw them out of whack. As a selfish Thunder fan who has watched us injured year-after-year, I'll take a one game suspension breaking our way... ;)

Green not suspended.

Yep. It really is a nonsensical decision that neither aligns with their own rulings in similar situations nor makes any sense. In short, the NBA admitted that Green should have been ejected with a flagrant 2... yet, he has to sit out no game time at all. Makes no sense. Obviously this was a ratings decision. But hopefully OKC comes out fired up and sustains it.

Now we need Adams to goad that him into another technical.

If he gets a Flagrant 2 he would actually be suspended for 2 games. Let's hope he goes for it again... Or not, for Steven Adam's sake. ;)

Adams just needs to wear a suit of armor and he'll be fine.

Honestly it is pathetic that the NBA didn't uphold their own precedent that they set less than 24 hours prior to a nearly identical (arguably more blatant) event.

Part of me is okay with it though, because I don't want the Warrior fans have an easy excuse for another L.

My prediction is the 'Peake will be top 3 loudest it has ever been tomorrow.

I think the difference between this incident and the F2+ejection & day after fine for Kevin Durant in the Dallas series is timing. Whereas the Green incident took place with 5 plus minutes before halftime, KD's ejection happened with the game already in hand and 50 second left to go.

I feel like the NBA is going all sissy on the decision because they don't want the fingers pointed at them if the series sways one way vs. the other being that the GSW are the darlings of the sporting world right now.

All the above being said, Green will be playing with a coller on cause if he gets emotional once he will be suspended for one game anyway due to too many technicals...one more and its auto suspension.

I'd rather have him in it. While it's not the same thing as an injury, you never wish injury on an opposing player so why would anyone want to boast about not beating a team at full strength?

Our guys just need to rise above this media circus and stay focused. Win home games and it's on to the next task...

Hope Steven Adams is okay & ready to play tonight. Green's reckless play could have cost us our star center. NBA made its decision on Green so its time to move on.

Thunder now have the bulletin board material needed to get the job done. GSW hasn't lost 2 straight games this season; OKC controls home court advantage in which we could wrap this up in 5 or 6 games if we win tonight.

I've said this to all of my friends. I wish he would have gotten suspended. I want the path of least resistance to the Championship. Record books don't have asterisks. In 20 years no one will look back and say well they only won the series because Draymond Green didn't play in game 4. Hopefully he loses his head tonight and is out for game 5.

AP we can beat the Warriors despite Green's dirty antics. The NBA officials have received a lot of flack from this incident--so Green will be on a short leash tonight.

Yep. The decision was ridiculous and pretty indefensible considering previous decisions made on other similar (and mostly less egregious) plays. Honestly it would have been more defensible to let it ride as a flagrant 1, because at least then you wouldn't have to explain away no lost game minutes. If a 2 had been called in-game it's an ejection. So you retroactively amend to an F2 but he doesn't have to sit? Makes zero sense.

It was pretty clearly not a basketball call but instead one based on ratings/business reasons. Par for the course in the NBA.

I don't think this was as bad as what Green did. This should have been at least a flagrant 1. IMHO, this looked like Perk pushed Ibaka and Serge hit Griffin. Ibaka didn't have a closed fist and hit Griffin with his wrist.

I don't remember what the call was after the fact.

What I'm afraid of is the refs will be looking more closely at us instead of Green, thinking that we will retaliate.

The call after the fact was the same result. Upgraded to flagrant 2, no suspension, 25k fine. They also had a history, and I believe got each other ejected in previous games.

What a fun game to attend last night. The crowd was amped. The team continues to play to it's abilities. Donovan is making all the right moves... this time finding ways to get Roberson in spaces where he could score or attack. It's just really impressive. Having said that, I'm not looking past a 73 win team until OKC gets that fourth win.

i'm just not sure if the Warriors have an answer for Westbrook. he's simply wearing S. Curry out to the point where Curry is completely ineffective on the offensive end. i won't be surprised if GSW switches K. Thompson onto Westbrook, leaving Curry to guard Roberson.

either way, if Adams and Company continue to play at a high level, I like our chances to advance. the rebounding margin has been huge for us.

Holy choke job. That 4th quarter was unbearable. Props to GSW and specifically Klay Thompson, he was absolutely in the mindset of "wanting it".

Monday is going to probably be very painful.

Interesting note, every game this series - Vegas has bet a W on the team that lost.

Durant pretty much single-handidly lost the game. That's what I saw. His turnovers at the worst times. His way short 3 point shots. They were.....................I can't say on here!
And if he leaves and any of his reasoning is OKC not making the Finals it will be ironic since the last minutes of Game 6 were almost completely his fault.

So dumb. We can't go a page without silly, uninformed posts. First, the Warriors (if they win) would be heavy favorites over the Cavs. Second, there's zero chance KD even considers Cleveland.

In the end, KD and Russ didn't trust their teammates down the stretch and they abandoned what got them there. Very disappointing to see their bad habits take over down the stretch. It didn't help that Klay had maybe the greatest shooting performance in NBA history. Let's see if the Thunder can bring the fight in game 7... A lot of teams would quit, but I don't think OKC will.
