I problably should not be using the Edmond thread but since it impacts Edmond I will. On the north side of Waterloo at Midwest Blvd there is a building going up, I was hoping for a mom and pop restaurant. Nope! A sign just went up for a Dollar General store in a metal building. I know its Logan county but I was hoping some nice stuff would start to be built. The area south and around is building up with nice expensive homes, why are they catering to low income people? If you go farther north, sure there are the moble homes. Come on, people with a bit more money are moving in. Not much that I would buy in that place.

Yeah it's definitely annoying. I really hope ODOT buys out Waterloo and the surrounding land and builds a high-speed limited access highway the connects with Hefner Parkway. This is optimal because it is on a county line and benefits bot counties equally.

I also wish Logan County would adopt standards such as a banning metal siding for buildings fronting streets. It is sad to see the cesspool Logan County is and it is getting worse. Logan County and Guthrie have beautiful landscapes minus the buildings except for Guthrie's downtown.

Not a fan of the unsightly Dollar Stores. But I think the county has more than enough on its plate without deciding building standards for private properties.
