I was talking with the wife about getting another scoot. She really doesn't want me to. Even though she loves riding with me, the dumbass factor out on the roads these days has her pretty much done with bikes.... We shall see.

Not a bike but bike related... I picked up a new helmet last week. I think I like it better than any I've ever owned. I normally do full face fixed helmets, which can be a beast to get on and off, and keep you from grabbing a quit drink at a stop or talking to someone with your helmet on, so this time I went modular.

BILT - Evolution Modular Motorcycle Helmet - Modular - Helmets - Street - Cycle Gear (http://www.cyclegear.com/BILT-Evolution-Modular-Motorcycle-Helmet)

One thing I like is the drop down sun shade. It breaths well also, and being able to lift the face guard up is awesome. The visibility in it is outstanding compared to my last helmet. It's also got a great price point. This all makes it easier to ride smarter and safer, something I've not always been the best at.

Similar features as my Nolan NCOM full-face modular. Mine is the flat black model: Nolan N91 Helmet - RevZilla (http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/nolan-n91-helmet?utm_source=product&kwd=&gclid=CjwKEAiAjfq2BRDpmdHmssaW5xsSJABToP4lUV4KPb6l uWyrKI8hDTLEeWOpzu_WLGnuZqWP9PatfRoC8vrw_wcB)

How's the noise level? I've heard a lot of Bilt helmets are louder than they should be at speed. I use a cheap GMAX helmet that after wearing it for so long fits like a glove and feels great, but I've been considering upgrading to one with a built in sun shade and breath guard, but my current one is so well broken in I don't want another few months of smushface when I do upgrade.

I thought I was pretty up on the 1% clubs in the area. I followed 2 Hell's Lovers down I40 a couple of days ago. Never heard of them. Looked up their website and it says they were founded in the late 60s in the Chicago area. The site lists areas where they have chapters and Oklahoma isn't listed but they definitely had Oklahoma on their rockers.

I hadn't heard if them either. According to what I just read about them, neither the Outlaws or Wheels of Soul - both of whom are active here - are bound to be happy about these guys sporting Oklahoma rockers.

And colors being important the patches are the colors of the Outlaws. From a distance I thought they were Outlaws. I can't see that being accepted well.

They may be an outlaws support club. I'll ask my red and gold friends. They should know.

The their website and other information I found on them doesn't say anything about it. And it says they're a multi ethnic club which I don't think fits the Outlaws. Or much of anyone else for that matter.

The website One Percenter Motorcycle Clubs - One Percenter Bikers (http://www.onepercenterbikers.com) lists every club's known enemies, and the ONLY two clubs listed for Hell's Lovers were Outlaws and Wheels of Soul, clubs with whom they have beefed within the past decade, nationally. In the case of WOS the confrontation was violent (shooting). I don't think they are an Outlaws supporter club. At all.

You're right. Not a supporter, nor part of the COC. So.... Not sure what's up here. We saw what happened in Waco.

Hello everyone - Random/quick question. Does anyone have a garage to recommend for tuning? My 99 Road King has an aftermarket EFI system (Magneti Marelli), and for the life of me I can't get it to cold or hot idle. Constantly bogs down. I took it to Iron Nation Harley last June for service/tune before my CO trip, and although the aftermarket system is notorious for being difficult, there was zero improvement. Any and all information is appreciated!

Thanks,
RMK12403
